Hartson Admits Future Aspirations

Celtic striker John Hartson has admitted that he intends to end his career at his home-town club, Swansea. The Welsh International has played at the likes of Old Trafford, the San Siro in Milan and the Nou Camp in Barcelona...yet wishes to finish his long career at the White Rock stadium, South Wales.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Hartson said, "I'd love to go back. I can remember standing and watching on the terraces when I grew up as a boy. But I wouldn't just want to go to pick up money, get a round of applause for a few games then fizzle out. I'd want to be able to achieve things at the club".

However, Swansea supporters shouldn't get too excited about the prospect of Hartson lining up alongside Lee Trundle and Paul Connor next season, as the Welsh International plans on playing for another five seasons.
