Beattie has agreed a three-year contract with the Swans and is expected to put pen to paper on Friday after completing a medical at the Liberty Stadium. Beattie will wear the number 9 shirt.
Lee Trundle will return to Swansea on loan until January 1 from Bristol City with the option of further extending his stay in south west Wales. He will wear the number 19 shirt.
