Curtis Leaves Swans Post

Alan Curtis has been removed from his coaching position at the club with immediate effect. The ex-Vetch Field legend was told that he is no longer needed at the club, as manager Kenny Jackett attempts to re-arrange his management team ahead of next season's promotion to League One.

Curtis' departure from the club has increased speculation that Northern Irish International Mark Williams is set to join the Swansea management team, in a player/coach capacity. Williams was released from his playing position at MK Dons last week and it is understood that the veteran defender has been in touch with Jackett with regards to a dual role similar to that of Kevin Nugent.
